Vintage Mele & Co. Burl Wood Jewelry Box

This vintage jewelry box, manufactured for the iconic Mele & Co. circa the late 1970s/early 1980s, features a stunning three-panel faux-burl veneer top inlay framed by sharp mitered borders.

A built-in mirror is inset in the lid and a well-preserved, rich cognac brown velvet lines the interior. The layout features individual divided storage wells for earrings or small charms, a set of padded ring rolls, and a wide flat well for watches, bracelets, or chains. Its original corporate Utica, NY sticker on the base, marks it as an authentic piece from this quality manufacturer.
