Vintage Ozark Roadside Tourist Pottery Blue Vase
A 1940s Ozark Mountain roadside pottery vase — cobalt blue and white glaze hand-applied and left to melt and blend during firing, creating the distinctive drip pattern that made this tradition impossible to replicate exactly twice. Produced in the small family potteries that thrived across Arkansas and southern Missouri during the 1930s and 40s, each piece was shaped from local red clay and finished by hand. A vivid piece of American folk craft history, entirely its own.
