This round lidded jewelry dish was produced by the esteemed Manju Tōki (萬寿陶器) kiln in Japan and imported by the celebrated Takahashi Trading Corp. of San Francisco.
The exterior showcases a classic, vibrant Imari palette featuring a striking crested peacock surrounded by hand-painted orange, rust, and cobalt blue blossoms. The box is bordered with intricate geometric scroll patterns and delicate gold-gilt accents. The pristine white porcelain underside features the authentic, hand-stamped red square Manju workshop seal.
