Vintage Brass WWII British Military Prismatic Marching Compass, Replica

Modeled precisely after the standard-issue 1940 Mark III field surveying instruments produced by The Gramophone Co. Ltd. of London, this heavy circular solid brass compass features a darkened, aged satin patina. The exterior housing is sharply engraved around its perimeter with traditional maritime compass rose cardinal directionals.

The reverse side features a detailed concentric-circle base plate meticulously stamped with historically accurate military data markings. This includes the manufacturer hallmark "T.G. CO LTD LONDON," the individual batch serial number "NA266322," the model designation "1940 MK III," and the official British Broad Arrow (↑) government property stamp.
