The Avery Art Deco Plume Scent Bottle

This striking vanity bottle pairs a heavily faceted, multi-angled architectural base with a commanding, stylized feather plume stopper.  Crafted by the historic L.E. Smith Glass Company during the 1940s, this heavy-weight flacon bridges the gap between classic Art Deco structure and sculptural elegance.

Produced in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, the Pattern No. 555 showcases the technical precision of mid-century American pressed glassmaking. The body features sharp geometric paneling designed to mimic the light-refracting clarity of luxury European cut crystal. The towering feather plume stopper is finished with a frosted, ground-glass stem that seats securely into the neck.
