1920's Italian Floral Trinket Box

A 1920s Italian micro mosaic trinket box. The lid is set with a bouquet of forget-me-nots in vivid cobalt, sky blue, and gold, surrounded by concentric rings of deep teal and crimson. The gilt brass base is adorned with delicate applied wirework scrolls. The hinged lid opens to a warm gold interior. A miniature marvel that rewards a very close look.
